Hot Green Tea, Weight Loss, and Life Expectancy

I lost 12 pounds three summers ago dropping from 200 pounds to 188 pounds. My diet that particular summer was no different than summers past. Steaks, soft drinks, entire pizzas. I ate what I wanted to eat with no lowering of caloric intake.

The difference? I drank hot green tea after or with any meal that involved anything greasy. My exercise routine did not change. The only change was the consumption of hot green tea!

So I was pleased to recently find there is a life longevity benefit to drinking hot tea.Telomeres, the structures at the end of your  genes, shield the DNA protecting it from harmful potentially cancer causing mutations. It turns out that Telomeres shorten with age which decreases their ability to protect DNA. Green tea has been shown to increase the length of Telomeres which, in turn, extends life expectancy.

Excellent Deals online for Barley Grass Powder

We found that Barley Grass Powder is supposed to be good for the Goiter condition and overall improvement of ones metabolism. Problem is that Barley grass powder can be quite expensive if you purchase it at small town health and nutrition establishments.

Enter VitaCost which is an online Heath care and skin care store. They literally barrage you with email promotions and great deals daily which allows one to save a bunch of money. They will ship your order for free if your order exceeds $48.

As you can see in the below screen shot, we ordered 4 nine ounce containers of Nature's Way Barley Grass Powder for a total of $67.96 which got us the free shipping we were after. Even though this was already a good deal, we also got an additional 12% discount by typing in the promotional code Spring42 which was given to us via email courtesy of a VitaCost twelve hour sale.

The 12 per cent discount knocked our bill down to the remarkably low price of $59.80 for 4 containers of product that will last us close to 4 months. Did I mention the Barley Grass Powder also is a decent source of fiber?
